MSI Unveils Compact Cubi Z AI 8M Mini PC with AMD Hawk Point Processors
MSI has introduced the Cubi Z AI 8M, a compact mini PC powered by AMD’s Hawk Point processors. Despite its “AI” branding, the device’s neural processing capabilities reportedly don’t meet Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC requirements. The system offers robust connectivity and eco-friendly construction.
Compact Powerhouse with AMD Hardware
MSI has launched the Cubi Z AI 8M mini PC, a compact computer measuring just 136 x 132 x 50mm that packs significant hardware capabilities. According to reports, the system supports up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory and features an M.2 2280 slot for PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD storage. The mini PC can be configured with AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS, Ryzen 7 8845HS, or Ryzen 9 8945HS processors from the Hawk Point series, which analysts suggest should deliver solid performance for everyday computing tasks.
