European tower operator Cellnex has agreed to sell its French data center business to Vauban Infra Fibre in a €391 million all-cash transaction. The deal involves Towerlink France, which operates edge data centers across multiple French cities and serves Bouygues Telecom as its primary client.
European telecommunications infrastructure company Cellnex has reportedly reached an agreement to divest its French data center operations to Vauban Infra Fibre (VIF) in a transaction valued at €391 million ($457.6 million), according to recent corporate announcements. The deal involves the transfer of 99.99% of Towerlink France, the entity responsible for Cellnex’s primary data center operations throughout France.
